Strengthen defenses

A well-functioning immune system helps us fend off infections. However, when it's weak, we become more susceptible. The good news is: a weakened immune system can be strengthened again.

Get enough sleep

Make sure you get enough sleep. During sleep, the body detoxifies and regenerates.

Enjoy fruit and vegetables

Consume fruits and vegetables in their raw or steamed form rather than cooked. Raw fruits and vegetables are rich in cell-protecting antioxidants. Aim to eat a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. Berries, cabbage, and broccoli are particularly beneficial, as are nuts, garlic, seaweed, and spirulina. Spirulina is a blue-green algae considered a nutrient-dense, easily digestible, and wholesome food. Additionally, consider taking vitamin B12 supplements.

Water, water, water

Remember to drink plenty of water. Water helps flush toxins from the body.

Get fresh air

Spend a lot of time outside and engage in physical activity in fresh air.
