Questions about Dr.Dünner AG
All Dr.Dünner food supplements are manufactured with great care in Switzerland. However, not all the plants required grow in Switzerland. Therefore, they are harvested in their respective countries of origin, controlled in Switzerland according to strict regulations, and refined into premium products. This ensures you enjoy a product of the highest Swiss quality with maximum safety.
All formulations are carefully developed by our experienced specialists. Once the new product samples are available, they are manufactured for you by a specialized Swiss partner company.
Dr.Dünner does not accept questionable manufacturing methods! We know our suppliers well and can therefore optimally assess working conditions. Wherever possible, we give preference to growing cooperatives and thus promote fair trade.
We are aware that we only have the world on loan from our descendants. So we ensure that we use of all resources respectfully and sustainably. Whenever possible, we use organic raw materials from Switzerland.
General Questions about the products
We always use the best quality – including for packaging materials! That is why all of our liquid products are supplied in recyclable glass bottles. However, for the premium-quality capsules, only a blister pack ensures optimal protection of the sensitive ingredients.
We are always looking for organic farmers who can supply us with raw materials of organic quality. However, since the soils and plants take years to reach the organic standard, there is still not enough organic raw material available. Also, for legal reasons, we are not allowed to label ingredients as organic on the packaging if not all of the ingredients are of organic origin (this is particularly difficult with vitamins). Therefore, many of our products contain organic herbs, but we are not allowed to label them as such.
Our products are free from chemical preservatives and are also not irradiated to extend shelf life. Therefore, please pay close attention to the storage instructions on the packaging to maintain optimal quality.
We do not use sucrose, but instead sweeten our liquid products with pure, concentrated pear juice. This is made from untreated pears that grow on mighty Swiss standard trees.
All our products are GMO-free. We strictly ensure that all raw materials do not contain genetically modified organisms or have come into contact with them. The cultivation of genetically modified organisms is prohibited in Switzerland.
No animal testing is conducted for Dr.Dünner products.
We do not use lactose. However, please always refer to the respective product declaration.

We respect all living beings and consistently reject animal testing. The majority of our product range is vegan.
When selecting our raw materials and formulations, we place the highest demands on quality. For this, we require the best ingredients. And these are naturally somewhat more expensive.
We have regularly received positive feedback from satisfied customers. For us, this is one of the most wonderful confirmations we can imagine.
This raises the fundamental question of what ‘chemistry’ actually is. Many natural processes in the human body, such as digestion, are, in the strict sense, chemical processes. We primarily use natural substances or, in small amounts, nature-identical compounds that are structurally identical to natural substances (e.g., vitamins) and therefore have the same effect.
Sugar-free products can be taken without hesitation. If you have any uncertainties, we recommend consulting your family doctor.
All our products, with the exception of the Nettle Drainage Capsules, are vegetarian. Currently, this is not possible there due to technical reasons. However, we are working on being able to offer the product as vegan in the future. We do not use any raw materials derived from pigs. Please always refer to the respective product declaration.
Questions about products use
In general, there is no time limit for the use of our food supplements. Breaks are not necessary. However, please always refer to the corresponding product declaration. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet, and a healthy lifestyle.
An overdose of the contained vitamins and minerals is not possible as long as you adhere to the recommended intake. All ingredients are dosed so you take the amount that you would ideally consume in your daily diet.
The ideal time to take the product depends largely on the product itself. Therefore, please always refer to the corresponding product declaration.
A balanced diet is indispensable for health. However, it is well known that many people do not achieve this. Taking our products regularly supports the body in certain life situations.
We strongly recommend that you adhere to the recommended intake. If you take significantly more than that by mistake and experience discomfort, please call us at +41 41 8544611 or consult your family doctor.
We guarantee optimal quality and stability of the product until the best-before date printed on the packaging. Even if the product would still be fine, we must generally point out that food supplements should no longer be taken after exceeding the best-before date.
Generally, you may open the capsules and take the contents this way. However, we advise against it for taste and hygienic reasons.
Normally, there are no restrictions. Nevertheless, we recommend that you read the medication’s package insert carefully or consult your doctor or pharmacist.
